Meet Dr. Jerry Burnette
Dr. Jerry Burnette has a broad experience in science, education, and ministry.
He has taught at Phoenix Seminary, conducted research at UNC and Duke and published in the medical literature. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he maintained a private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, ministered as chaplain in the Raphe unit of Scottsdale Camelback Behavioral Health Center, and developed a Christian educational/missionary program for the country of Albania, for which he served as internal coordinator from 1993-1995. Currently, in addition to his teaching, administrative, and research responsibilities at SWC, he teaches in the Doctor of Ministry program at Phoenix Seminary.
