Meet Dr. Gary Damore 

Dr. Gary Damore has worked in the field of education for more than 35 years. He has been a teacher, public school principal and Christian school superintendent during that time. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, a Master of Science in English as a Second Language and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership all from Northern Arizona University. He joined Southwestern College’s Education Department in August 2008. 
In addition to his teaching and department responsibilities at Southwestern, Dr. Damore serves on the board of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the State Council for NorthCentral/AdvancEd.   He is a member of the Legal Legislative Committee of ACSI which lobbies the federal government on behalf of private schools in the U.S.   In the summer of 2009 Dr. Damore was the keynote speaker and workshop presenter at the ninth annual National Teacher’s Convention in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 

Dr. Damore’s passion is to prepare students to become exceptional teachers who will live for Christ through the field of education.
